I gave the newsletter a name!

This is just a note to say that I’ve rebranded this newsletter (or, more precisely, branded it — it didn’t have much of an identity before).

A few weeks ago, I was taken by surprise when something I wrote was featured on Substack Reads. Since then, this newsletter has gone from about a dozen followers to several hundred. If you’ve subscribed recently, thank you!

This good fortune has encouraged me to get a little more serious about the newsletter, so I’m going to give it a name and commit to a regular publication schedule.

The newsletter’s new name is Looking Through the Past, because that’s what I’ll be doing here. Each week, I’ll take you on a tour through art, artifacts, and ephemera from history.
